Google Voice Fail

After setting up my Google Voice account and adding it to my About page, I got my first voicemail transcription e-mailed to me.

I’m not pulling any punches here, this is the exact message Google Voice transcribed:

What happened here? The transcription sounds so utterly different than the audio message (a normal, brief message sent from a colleague) that I’m convinced I was either given a garbage transcription or a transcription for the wrong message.

And if the transcription above is for a different message, then there are some seriously disturbed Google Voice users out there.
